University of North Alabama Honor Choir Fall 2026

A chance for excellent choral singers to perform timeless repertoire in a university setting!
With special guest clinicians Jamie Hillman and Alicia Mulloy!

Rehearsal is all day on Tuesday 22 September beginning at 8:30 a.m.; concert is that evening at 7 p.m.

Registration is due by Tuesday 1 September 2026.

UNA Middle School SSA Honor Choir

• Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. that morning, with rehearsals all day, and a concert in the evening.
• This festival welcomes up to 18 students from every participating school. Directors will audition their singers for a balanced ensemble.
• Fee: $25/student (maximum $400/18 students)

UNA Mixed Voices Choir

• Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. on Monday morning at the UNA Choir Room, and a concert that evening.
• An opportunity for students AND directors to sing with the UNA Chamber Choir in concert. Students will be accepted in groups of up to 8 from participating schools, grades 9-12 or two-year college. (Returning choirs may bring 12 singers.) Directors will audition their singers for a balanced ensemble.
• Fee: $35/student (maximum $250/8 students or $375/12 students)

Directors may choose which choir their boys with changing/changed voices may participate.

All singers must be present for all rehearsals with their own original copies of every piece.

The festival concludes with the Honor Choir Concert at Norton Auditorium, including a performance by a UNA vocal ensemble.  Dress for UNA Honor Choir concert is the participating school’s concert attire.

• All fees includes T-shirt, snacks and water during the day, and collaborative pianist’s fees
